(cymbopogon nardus) A tall aromatic perennial grass round in Sri Lanka. A yellowy, brown, mobile liquid with a fresh , powerful, lemony scent. The leaves of citronella are used for their aromatic and medicinal value in many cultures, for fever, interstinal parasites, digestive and menstrual problems. Commonly used as an insect repellent.
