Basil Essential Oil

(Ocimum basilicum) A tender annual herb with a very dark green, ovate leaves.

Native to tropical Asia and Africa it is now cultivated throughout Europe.

It is used for respiratory problems and as bronchitis, coughs, colds, asthma, flu and emphysema.

It is steam distilled from the flowering herb.
